On February 28, 2025, OAP signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Hydrographic Department of the Royal Thai Navy for the management of the Earthquake Monitoring Station.
This cooperation reflects the shared commitment of both agencies in operating the Earthquake Monitoring Station, or PS41 Station, which encompasses daily operations, budget proposal preparation, equipment installation, maintenance, security of the area and buildings, data utilization, and relevant training programs. The collaboration is aimed at ensuring efficient operations while complying with the requirements of the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT) to monitor potential nuclear weapon tests worldwide for the benefit of the public.
