On December 16, 2024, OAP hosted a technical tour for 37 faculties and students from the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Thammasart University. The tour focused on the Nuclear and Radiation Emergency Administration Center and Standard Laboratory for Radioactivity and Reference Materials.
This activity provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in nuclear and radiological emergency preparedness and response. A team of expert instructors shares knowledge on the use of essential equipment and instruments, as well as the process of measuring the radioactivity of isotopes used in medical applications. This is a valuable opportunity to broaden students’ perspectives, deepen their understanding of the practical applications of nuclear science and radiation in real-world scenarios, and enhance their extracurricular skills, contributing to their professional development.
