OAP raises PDPA awareness and Elevates Personal Data Management Standards

In an era where digital technology plays a crucial role in daily life, personal data management and cybersecurity have become key priorities that OAP has consistently emphasized. To prepare policies, practices, risk assessments, and data management processes that comply with legal standards, OAP is organizing a workshop titled “Personal Data Protection Law for Practitioners” on December 16-17, 2024, at the OAP headquarters. This initiative aims to advance towards becoming a digital organization.

The workshop is organized to enhance understanding of the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA). OAP personnel will gain knowledge and develop skills to apply this expertise professionally, particularly in leveraging digital technology to improve service efficiency, ensuring convenience, speed, and data security. Being “PDPA-aware” is not merely about complying with the law but also represents a significant step in building trust in cybersecurity among OAP’s service recipients.

Additionally, this workshop aligns with OAP’s Five-Year Operational Plan (2023–2027), specifically under Strategic Goal 3: Enhancing the Infrastructure for Nuclear and Radiation Regulation, and Strategy 3.2: Advancing Digital Systems for Regulation and Service Delivery. It also supports the Second Digital Action Plan (2023–2027), a key initiative for modernizing the organization and adapting to the changes of the digital era.
