Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pasit Lorterapong, OAP Secretary General along with OAP officials, participated in the IAEA Scientific Forum 2024 on the topic Atoms4Food: Better Agriculture for Better Life, held from September 17-18, 2024. The forum was chaired by Mr. Rafael Mariano Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
The forum not only highlighted the importance of research and development but also showcased the potential of nuclear technology to revolutionize future agricultural systems. IAEA is pushing for the use of nuclear technology to address food security challenges and promote sustainable agricultural development on a global scale.
