OAP as a national atomic authority, endorsed Country Program Framework (CPF) 2022 – 2029 on December 19, 2023. CPF is served as an overarching framework that will help Thailand develop technical cooperation projects according to national priorities in agriculture, nutrition, medical, industry, environment and research and development. In 2023, Thailand implemented an environmental project to use nuclear technique on recycled plastic waste. The project is now in its second phase where environmental impact on marine ecology from plastic pollution is investigated and expected to finish by the end of 2025.

OAP is determined to make the most out of IAEA membership through technical cooperation projects and to continue its role as a national liaison office between IAEA and relevant authorities in Thailand. OAP strives to promote the use of nuclear technology for peaceful purposes and sustainable developments.
