On June 4, 2024, Assoc. Prof. Pasit Lorterapong, OAP Secretary General, discussed with Dr. Elena Buglova, Directory of Nuclear Security Division, on Thailand’s nuclear security capacity and expressed a gratitude toward IAEA for its support on several successful projects allowing Thailand to enhance national nuclear security regime and to effectively respond to nuclear security threats. In addition, Assoc. Prof. Pasit expressed its willingness to take on a more challenging role as a regional collaboration center for nuclear forensics and other related areas for the greater benefits of Thailand and the region.
Thailand is also ready to measure its national security regime by means of INSServ Mission taking place from September 2 to September 13, 2024.
