OAP together with IAEA host a workshop under THA9019 “Strengthening National Capacity in the Management of Radioactive Waste and Naturally Occurring Radioactive Materials (NORMs) from May 13 to 17, 2024. This workshop helps thirty-five participants gain more understanding on regulatory activities on radioactive waste and NORM management in industrial and mine facilities and increases awareness among relevant authorities on regulations and laws involving with radioactive materials and radioactive waste. In addition, this workshop is served as a platform for dialogue exchanges between IAEA experts and Thai participants.
