Representative from OAP attended the 15th ASEAN Regional Forum Inter-Sessional Meeting on Non-Proliferation and Disarmament (ARF ISM on NPD) from April 29 to May 1 in Honolulu, USA. The event was co-hosted by Thailand, Sri Lanka and USA. The meeting was to promote a regional effort on non-proliferation and reduction of nuclear weapon.
Mr. Chaiyod Suntarapa, a nuclear engineer from OAP, was a panelist on the Peaceful Use of Nuclear Energy and had a chance to talk about Thailand’s power development plans and OAP’s readiness as a nuclear regulator for nuclear power program.
