Thailand’s ORPAS Mission hosted by OAP was concluded with the Exit Meeting on March 19, 2024 which was also attended by Ms. Hildegarde Vendenhove, Director of Radiation, Transport and Waste Safety, IAEA.
Not only OAP but also several technical service providers and operators from all fields who had taken part in the ORPAS Mission from March 11 to 19, 2024 received valuable recommendations or suggestions that would certainly be used to strengthen their capacities relating to radiation protection and safety. They had been actively engaging with the experts and had shown intentions to improve upon their exisiting meaures to the levels recognized by international community.
